The building is closed but the church is open. Sadly, because of the measures need to control the Coronavirus outbreak all church services in the church building are suspended until further notice.
However, church was never really about the buildings. Church is about relationship; first of all it is about our relationship with God, bringing our thanks and praise to God and meeting with Him in worship; and then church is also about our relationships with each other. While the ‘social distancing’ measures are in place we mustn’t meet physically, but we are recognising that what is being called ‘social distancing’ is only about physical distancing and for those who have online access we can still meet through our computer screens. Ascension is using the Zoom Video Conferencing for online Virtual Church Events. Please see below for information about downloading Zoom.
